Let’s Play!
Have kids look through the list of spiritual disciplines and ask them what they think each one means. As they talk about what each one means, have them identify something they can do to practice that discipline.
Let’s Talk!
Tell your kid about some things you are working on in your walk with the Lord and ask them what they think you can do to be your best for God’s Team.
Let’s Read!
Read Philippians 2:12-13 and talk about how that pertains to our walk with Christ.
Let’s Think!
What are some things that you and your child can work on to practice some of these spiritual disciplines? Could you do something to serve, show thankfulness or read the Bible together?
Let’s Do!
Put those plans into action. Come up with something you can do together with your child to practice one of these disciplines and do it. Maybe it’s showing service by helping a neighbor out , or practicing giving, by gathering some toys and donating them.
