Day 2 of the August Fast for our Schools

The new school season is right around the corner. Parents and students, teachers and administrators, as well as the school staff are preparing to enter into this new school year with expectation, hopes, and likely even some concerns. This is why we are setting aside three focused days of intercession and fasting for our students and schools, and we hope you will join us. 

How the August fast works:

• The fast is 3 days long, beginning on August 8th and ending on August 10th.
   
• We have created a focused daily devotional for each day to guide you through the fast, but we encourage you to be Spirit-led in your prayer.  
• You will receive each day’s devotion in your inbox or be able to find it on our website at hopechurch.net/augustfast.  
• How you choose to fast during these days is up to you. Some choose to eliminate a meal while others choose to break from specific forms of media and devote that time to focused prayer.
