Update – Tuesday March 17th, 2020
Hope Family,
Please take a minute and watch the video above to hear a brief message from Pastor Josh about the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) situation that is continuing to unfold in our community.
All of us have felt the incredible effects of events taking place in the world right now. We want you to know that we have been thinking and praying for each one of you! Through it all, we are excited and expectant for how God will use all of us, HIS Church, in this moment.
Even though life around us has changed dramatically over the last few days, Jesus has not changed! We get to respond as Kingdom people and bring Peace, Joy, and Hope to those who are really afraid and in distress. This is the moment where we get to shine the brightest!
Although we will not be able to gather physically in our large group gatherings for a while, we are not closing down. We believe that we will be more open than ever because the Church is not a building. You are the Church, and you are open to release hope everywhere you go. We may not have realized it at the time, but we have been preparing for this moment – growing to be the Church that goes outside of the walls of a building. Be encouraged! God is not outside of this moment. He is with us and He will use every bit of it for good.
Here are a few specifics of changes coming for us as a Church family:
1. Because of the imposed restrictions, we will not be able to gather on-site at Hope on Sunday Mornings or Wednesday Nights over the next weeks. We are excited to let you know that we will be live-streaming a Sunday morning worship experience at 8:30am starting this Sunday the 22nd. If early mornings aren’t for you, the service will be available on-demand for your convenience. We want to encourage you to gather in your home around your computer, television, or your device and worship! Let’s go for it like we always do!
2. We are putting together a plan to organize host homes all across the city where we can gather together for Fellowship, Worship, and Prayer. We will have more information in the days to come on the specifics.
3. There are a few ways that we would like to be available to you during this time. If you need prayer, our ministry team will be available! We are also thinking of ways that we can help practically, so if you’d like prayer or need any other assistance, Click Here.
4. Let’s keep putting God first in our giving financially. This is not a time to shrink back! Click Here to give online today.
We are learning a new way – a new expression of how to be the Church and we believe that the Holy Spirit will lead us! We encourage each of you to reach out to those around you. Let’s not just think of ourselves during this time. In a moment like this, we need each other.
We love you and are praying for you. We’ll see you Sunday online at 8:30am!

“Hope Family,
Please take a minute and watch the video above to hear a brief message from Pastor Josh about the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) situation that is unfolding in our community.
As most of you have heard, today our Mayor and the Greene County Heath Department have asked that organizations, like churches, limit gatherings to 250 people or less. As a church, we fully intend to honor and comply with these requests. They did, however, give some allowance for that adjustment this weekend. So we want you to know that this Sunday we will have our 8:30 and 10:30am services in both the Worship Center and the Family Center. We are also diligently working out details for how we move forward in the weeks ahead. We will keep you updated every step of the way!
For this Sunday, just like always, if you or your children are showing any signs of sickness we ask that you stay home and worship together as a family. The CDC and the Greene County Health Department are recommending that those who are 60 years of age and over and those with Chronic heath conditions or weakened immune systems not attend church this Sunday.
We have been and will continue to monitor this situation closely and move forward refusing fear and using wisdom. We invite you to join us in praying for our City, our Nation, and the World in the midst of this season!”

“Hope Family,
Please take a minute and watch the video above to hear a brief message from Pastor Josh about the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) situation that is unfolding in our nation.
We are approaching this in 2 ways:
First, we refuse to be moved by fear. We recognize what is going on around us, but we are not moved or making our decisions based on fear.
Second, we want to use wisdom in addressing what is happening and we want people to feel safe as they come to worship with us, especially those who might be considered high risk.
We will continue to monitor the situation and update you as necessary. We’ll see you on Sunday at 8:30 and 10:30am. God Bless! “
